Fuel usage from haul trucks represent up to 80% of a mine’s carbon footprint, and are the key decarbonisation challenge for miners. Alta’s electric components are core technology for the electrification of mining assets.
To achieve the industry’s 2030 and 2050 carbon targets, fully electric/hydrogen trucks need to achieve mass adoption, and miner’s current assets need to be greatly modified.
That’s why at Alta, we have developed at scale solutions for OEMs’ products, but also have a suite of retrofit options for end users to implement on their assets today.

Alta’s Puretraction product range is adaptable to client’s decarbonisation, cost of performance requirements. We provide solutions along our customers’ paths to net zero.
